Sausalito YC 2011 - 2012 Midwinter Series

The Sausalito Yacht Club invites Bay Sailors to come out to the SYC Midwinter Series. Races are held on the first Sunday of the month from November through March. January will be the exception as that race will be on the second Sunday. No SYC racing on New Year's Day!

Race dates: Nov 6, Dec 4, Jan 8, Feb 5, March 4

Racing will take place in the Knox/Yellow Bluff area using temporary and fixed mark courses.

The first warning signal for each race will be at sounded at 1200.

Entry is open to all yachts with a valid PHRF certificate and members of one-design fleets. A copy of your PHRF certificate must be received by the race committee or listed on the current YRA web site (www.yra.org) to complete your registration. Five or more one-design entries may constitute a class. Entry fee is $50 for the entire series or $20 for an individual race.

SYC members may pay with their member number or with a credit card. If using your member number, please specify "other" in the payment type field.

Sailing Instructions will be available on the SYC race notice board and on the club web site no later than Friday November 4th.

I hereby agree to comply with the RRS, the Prescriptions of US Sailing, the Sailing Instructions, this Notice of Race, and the U.S. Coast Guard. I enter this regatta at my own risk and do hereby release Sausalito Yacht Club, it’s sponsors, it’s employees and/or agents, both jointly and severally from any liability for loss, injury or damage to any persons and property that might arise from my participation in this regatta, even if any such loss, injury or damage shall be caused by negligence of those so released. I attest that my boat shall conform to USCG and US Sailing regulations.
