NOTICE OF RACE AND ENTRY FORM

2011 OKTOBERFEST CUP OKTOBER 15 und 16 2011

Berkeley Yacht Club invites all monohulls meeting Northern California PHRF minimum requirements and multihulls with a valid BAMA rating to participate in the 4th annual OKTOBERFEST CUP. There will be two buoy races for the multihulls with a first warning at 1210. The monohulls will be given a pursuit race around Alcatraz Island. The first (slowest rated) boat will start at 1230. Non-spinnaker boats will be scored separately. Both events will start at or near Olympic Circle buoy “XOC”.

RULES

The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing, 2009-2012, the prescriptions of USSailing, the class rules of each respective one design class and the Sailing Instructions. Membership in a Yacht Club is not required. This event is designated as Advertising Category “A “.

CERTIFICATES

All yachts MUST have a current Northern California PHRF or BAMA certificate or submit a copy of an application.

AMENDMENT TO THE NOTICE OF RACE

  • The dates are October 15 AND October 16, 2011.
  • Monohulls will race a pursuit race on Saturday, October 15.
  • Multihulls will race two buoy races on Sunday, October 16.

The undersigned certifies that the above yacht meets the USCG minimum requirements and agrees to hold the Berkeley Yacht Club and their agents harmless from any claims for damage or injury to yacht or crew as a result of participation in this regatta.
