RACE DATES: NOV. 12/13, ‘11 DEC. 10/11, ‘11 JAN. 14/15, ‘12 FEB. 11/12, ‘12
CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS-WINNERS RACE: FEB 26, 2012

RULES AND SERIES:
• The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing, 2009-2012, the prescriptions of USSailing, the Rules or decisions of each class concerned, and by the Sailing Instructions and any amendments thereto.
• There will be two, independent series - Saturday’s and Sunday’s. There will be no throw-outs.

ELIGIBILITY AND DIVISIONS:
• All monohulls that meet PHRF minimum requirements and all multilhulls with a valid BAMA rating are invited to participate.
• For each series, a minimum of 5 yachts and a consensus among them regarding applicable One-design class rules are needed to form a One-design division.
• Multihulls will have their own division.
• Non One-design yachts will be assigned to an appropriate PHRF division. In order to be scored under PHRF, each yacht must have a current Northern California PHRF certificate on file in the YRA office. PHRF applications are available from YRA – www.yra.org or (415) 771-9500.
• The fleets will be divided into divisions based on entries received by November 7, 2011.

ENTRIES:
• To enter, go to www.berkeleyyc.org and enter on line. Or, fill in the entry form below and send with a check to the address indicated.
• Entry fees are: Saturday series, $65, Sunday series, $65 or both series, $120.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS:
• The SI’s will be available on line by late Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011. (See www.berkeleyyc.org)

START LOCATION AND TIME:
• The warning each day will be at 1155 at Olympic Circle buoy “XOC”.

RACING AREA AND COURSES:
• Courses will be on the Olympic circle, using both permanent and temporary buoys.
• It is the intention to provide predominantly windward/leeward courses.

HOSPITALITY:
• The BYC guest dock will be available to all entrants. Race results will be posted and free appetizers will be available after each race.
